Our Story

Gray Harbor Digital started in June 2022.  Our CEO, Brett Houck, worked with partners in the performance marketing space for over 15 years and always valued transparency.  After working for multiple companies on the media buying side and native advertising, he brought his years of experience to create transparent partnerships to blend the non-traditional affiliate partnerships to work on a traditional CPA model.  This opened the doors to thousands of new partners having access to affiliate marketing campaigns and brands while still maintaining their best practices and preferred KPI’s.  Gray Harbor Digital continues to grow as more distribution partners and advertisers want the same relationship but on the affiliate marketing model.

Brett Houck is an accomplished professional in the digital marketing industry, serving as the CEO of GrayHarborDigital, a leading media buying and data monetization company. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Brett has established himself as a visionary leader and a prominent figure in the realm of affiliate marketing.

Throughout his career, Brett has demonstrated an exceptional aptitude for leveraging data-driven strategies to drive business growth and maximize revenue for his clients. His expertise in media buying has enabled him to develop highly effective campaigns that reach and engage target audiences across various digital platforms.

As the CEO of GrayHarborDigital, Brett has successfully led his team to deliver innovative solutions and cutting-edge strategies that have consistently generated impressive results. Under his leadership, the company has grown exponentially, expanding its client base and establishing strong partnerships with industry-leading brands.

Beyond his professional achievements, Brett is a dedicated family man. With his wonderful family, he understands the importance of balancing work and personal life, and he brings this perspective to his leadership style. Known for his integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence, Brett is highly regarded by his peers and clients alike.

Mitchell Richler is deeply embedded in the online advertising space, with well over a decade of industry experience. His career boomed at the height of affiliate/performance marketing, in the online media world’s epicenter – New York City. Working in NYC gained Mitchell access to some of the best mentors in the space. He’s garnered connections with top advertising companies and has worked with major clients such as Experian, Netflix, Living Social, and Beyond The Rack. 

Mitchell’s career began at Epic Media in 2004, where he quickly became the youngest executive at the company. There, he played an integral role in a $48 million funding round led by TA Associates and Stripes Group. Mitchell later headed the firm’s New York City expansion, where he formed relationships with online behemoths like Google, MSN, Facebook, AOL and Yahoo. 

Building on his experience at Epic, Mitchell co-founded Yellowhammer Media Group in 2010 with a team of veteran ad network and display media buying executives. Yellowhammer sought out to solve the serious pain-points plaguing display advertisers, and it didn’t take long for the business world to notice. Yellowhammer went on to win a number of prestigious industry awards, and was named No. 37 on the 2013 Inc. 500 list. 

In 2013, Mitchell took his vast learnings and successes from New York City to Montreal, where he cofounded Snowy Owl Technologies – a hands-on consulting firm specializing in customer acquisition and product development.

Kelly Ground is a seasoned professional in the field of affiliate marketing, currently serving as the Chief Growth Officer at Gray Harbor Digital. With over 17 years of experience in this dynamic industry, she possesses a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective on driving strategic and innovative growth for affiliate and partnership marketing programs. Prior to her current role, Kelly held the position of Senior Director of Strategy and Insights at Acceleration Partners, where she provided guidance to AP’s global affiliate program management teams for over 6.5 years and was named a Top 30 Partnership Marketing Changemaker in the US by Hello Partner. Her strategic expertise and deep understanding of the affiliate landscape contributed to the success of numerous campaigns and initiatives.

Before joining Acceleration Partners, Kelly honed her skills as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager at HSN (Home Shopping Network), where she made significant contributions to revenue generation and overall growth through the implementation of highly effective affiliate and display programs. Her experience at HSN spanned over 7 years, during which she consistently delivered results and drove profitability.Kelly’s professional journey also includes a role as a Marketing Manager for an employee benefits publisher. Additionally, she has gained valuable experience in the manufacturing and telecommunication industries, further broadening her expertise in diverse sectors. Kelly earned a BA in political science with a minor in journalism from Clemson University. She lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband, 2 kids and dog.
